Kimball Elementary School - Parent Teacher Student Association

Kimball PTSA

Kimball's Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is a volunteer organization dedicated to the social and academic enrichment of every student and their family at Kimball Elementary School. The PTSA works closely with the school administration, staff, parents and community to advocate for our students and to provide financial and volunteer support for a wide variety of programs and activities. Together we can build a strong school community through education and family programs. Together we can support all of our students before decision making organizations that affect our children's well being and education.

Kimball's Parent, Teacher Student Association serves to support meaningful involvement of Kimball Elementary School community to:

  • Provide resources to students, families, teachers classrooms and the school to support student success.

  • Reach out to, support and involve parents in new and compelling ways.

  • Build on the academic experience with enrichment opportunities.

Why join the PTSA?

The number one reason to join Kimball's PTSA is to benefit your child. In doing so, you also help your school. There are also many more PTSA advantages:

  • Get Connected. There’s no better way to know what’s happening in your school.

  • Discover Great Resources. The PTA offers a variety of programs designed for parents as well as students.

  • Tap into a Network. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, building rapport and discussing issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences.

  • Watch Yourself Grow. By volunteering with your PTA, you put your skills and hobbies to use for a noble cause—your child and all children in the community.

  • Speak Up. PTA can be a way for you to more effectively suggest change at your child’s school.

  • Witness Improvement. By getting involved at your child’s school you’ll be part of the solution, helping make positive changes. Local PTAs play an important role by supporting building improvements through advocacy and play an important role in fundraising for curriculum based programs and social events.

  • Be a Role Model. By becoming a PTA member, you’ll be demonstrating to your child the importance you place on education.

  • Your children want you in school. Studies show that schools with a high level of parent and family involvement produce higher levels of student success.
