    Bell Times Surveys Due Friday!
    Posted on 10/20/2016
This is the image for the news article titled Bell Times Surveys Due Friday! As part of the agreement that ended the strike last school year, SEA and SPS agreed to (1) add 20 minutes to the school day in 2017-18 and (2) provide 1-hour per week of teacher collaboration time.  So, Seattle Public Schools wants our input on how to best implement these changes to the school day and what the impacts of their proposed options might be on our families and community.  (For example, they want to know if you'd prefer school start 20 minutes earlier or finish 20 minutes later each day? They want to know whether you'd prefer 1 early dismissal day or 1 late arrival day each week.)

Seattle Public Schools sent their survey out in an email to all families earlier this month. Complete the online survey by clicking on this link.

You should have received a paper copy of the survey (with translation, if needed) in your child(ren)'s backpack today--if you prefer to take the survey on paper, please return it to Kimball by Friday Oct. 21st.

This is the last week to take the survey. Please complete the short survey--either online or via paper--by this Friday, October 21st 2016. Let your voice be heard!

(FYI, Kimball is currently a Tier 1 school with the earliest start/end bell time.)
