Where: Kimball Elementary

Time: 7:15AM – 2:30PM, school day is 7:55AM – 2:25PM

What: National African American Parent Involvement Day (NAAPID). This day is set aside to celebrate and encourage African American families to come to our school and celebrate our students.

Tentative Agenda (Open House style, come and go as your schedule allows):

7:15AM-2:25PM: Coffee, pastries, snacks in the Family Resource Center

7:25-8:15AM: High-5 students and welcome them to school. If you are part of the Divinge Nine, please REPRESENT!!!

8:30-11AM: Visit classrooms and volunteer @ recess

11AM-12PM: Recesses and lunches (K-2nd grade =lunch 11-11:30AM and recess 11:30AM-12PM. 3rd-5th grade = recess from 11-11:30 AM and lunch 11:30AM-12PM)

12-1PM: Light lunch provided in the Family Resource Center

1-2:25PM: Visit classrooms and volunteer @ recess

2:25 PM: Dismissal, High-5 going home for the day

Please be mindful we can only have individuals who have completed our Volunteer Application Process inside the building during the school day. We would still love for you to come line up outside our enter/exit doors to welcome our students to school on that day or wish them well on their way home.
